This prestigious Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking excellence. Its 15.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Corvina 40%, Corvinone 40%, Rondinella 20%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Val di Mezzane at 400 meters above sea level on calcareous and medium-textured soils. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks for about 1 month with maceration on the skins for 4 weeks. The wine is aged 24 months in oak wood barrels of 25 hl. A wine reflecting the varied microclimates between Lake Garda and the Dolomites.
