This prestigious Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking excellence. Its 16.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Corvina 30%, Corvinone 30%, Rondinella 30% and other vines, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards canelli area, at 190 metres above sea level with south, south-east exposure with 15% slope on soils rich in tuff, silt and limestone. Vinification: drying of the grapes for about 20 days, soft pressing, alcoholic fermentation with maceration on the skins for 40-60 days in steel tanks. The wine is aged 30 months in oak barrels from Slavonia. A wine reflecting the varied microclimates between Lake Garda and the Dolomites.
