This Barbaresco DOCG stands as a benchmark for Piedmont's highest quality classification. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Nebbiolo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at 220-310 meters above sea level on limestone and clayey soils with sandy and marly composition. Vinification: alcoholic fermementation in steel vats for 20-25 days, than malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged 12 months in Slavonian oak casks, 12 months in cement and steel vats. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
