A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Barbera d'Alba DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Barbera 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Canale on sandy, calcareous and clayey soils with South-West exposure. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel vats controlled temperature with 7-10 days maceration. The wine is aged few months in steel and concrete tanks. A wine combining Piedmont's trademark power with finesse and complexity.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
