A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Barbera d'Alba DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 14.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Barbera 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on the marly-calcareous-clayey soils of the Langhe with east/south-east/south-west exposures with Guyot system. Vinification: alcoholic spontaneous fermentation for 15 days with indigenous yeasts in steel. The wine is aged 10 months in Slavonian oak barrels and 3 months in bottle. A wine combining Piedmont's trademark power with finesse and complexity.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
