A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Alba DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Barbera 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines on loamy-clay soils. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel. The wine is aged 13 months in barriques and large barrels, 2 additional months in steel tanks. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
