A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Barbera d'Alba DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 15% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Barbera 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from 3,5 hectars of the cru "Vigna Martina", with south-facing, at 380 mt of altitude, on limestone and slightly sandy soil. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature and complete malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged 12 months in oak barrique and 8 months in bottle. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
