A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Barbera d'Asti DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 16% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Barbera 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on vineyards of 30 years old, placed at 100 meters above sea level in the Vineyard Casanuova. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks with maceration for 20 days. The wine is aged 12 months in barrique, then 12 months in bottle. A wine combining Piedmont's trademark power with finesse and complexity.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
