A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Barbera d'Asti DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 14.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Barbera 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards sites in Agliano Terme, locality La Crena and other villages of the Asti hills. Vinification: cold pre-fermentation maceration, alcoholic fermentation for about two weeks in steel tanks with frequent pumping over. The wine is aged 12 months in barrique, barrels and steel. A wine combining Piedmont's trademark power with finesse and complexity.
