Among the most celebrated expressions of its category, this Barolo DOCG showcases exceptional craftsmanship. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Nebbiolo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines planted in 1999 on loamy, sandy, alkaline soils poor in organic matter. Vinification: temperature-controlled fermentation for about 20 days with two fullings per day. The wine is aged 12 months in barrel, 16 months in large barrel and 6 months in steel. A wine combining Piedmont's trademark power with finesse and complexity.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
