Among the most celebrated expressions of its category, this Barolo DOCG showcases exceptional craftsmanship. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Nebbiolo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a marny soil rich in limestone and clay from Cannubi cru, at 290-320 m above sea level, faced to South. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats for about 2 weeks with prolonged maceration for 40-50 days. Without filtrations. The wine is aged 48 months in big Slavonian oak barrels. A wine combining Piedmont's trademark power with finesse and complexity.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
