This prestigious Barolo DOCG represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking excellence. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Nebbiolo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on 250 m. above sea level, facing south-east, on the ground silty-sandy. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts for 7-8 days, with temperatures that never exceed 28°C. The wine is aged in Slavonian oak barrels of medium capacity for at least 2 years, then 1 year in bottle before release. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
