This prestigious Barolo DOCG represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking excellence. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Nebbiolo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a calcareous marny soil at 330 m above sea level. Reduction of the 65% of the bunches on the vines. Vinification: alcoholic and malolactic spontaneous fermentation in steel tanks. The wine is aged 24 months in barriques and in big oak barrels, new for the 20%, 8 months in steel tanks and at least 8 in bottle. A wine true to Piedmont tradition, built for age-worthy elegance.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
