This Barolo DOCG stands as a benchmark for Piedmont's highest quality classification. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Nebbiolo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines of about 35 years of age with southern exposure at 350-400 meters of altitude. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine is aged two years in Slavonian oak barrels; after bottling the wines rests in the cellar at least 10 months. A wine true to Piedmont tradition, built for age-worthy elegance.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
