This Barolo DOCG stands as a benchmark for Piedmont's highest quality classification. At 15% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Nebbiolo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines in average 35 years old grown in the cru Monvigliero, rooted on a calcareous and quite slimy soil. Vinification: fermentation in steel tanks for 20-25 days. The wine is aged 36 months in oak barrels, 2 months in steel tanks and at least 6 months in the bottle. A wine combining Piedmont's trademark power with finesse and complexity.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
