This Barolo DOCG stands as a benchmark for Piedmont's highest quality classification. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Nebbiolo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Serralunga d'Alba, facing south, south-west, on limestone and marly soil. Vinification: maceration for 35-40 days on the skins. The wine is aged 30 months in 2000 litre oak barrels, then 24 months in bottle. A wine combining Piedmont's trademark power with finesse and complexity.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
