Tasting Notes

This Barolo DOCG stands as a benchmark for Piedmont's highest quality classification. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Nebbiolo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 40 years old vines, Villero Cru in Castiglione Falletto on clayey soils rich in white and blu marls at 300 metres above sea level with South, South-West esposition. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel vats at 28-32° for 20-30 days with 12 days of maceration and malolactic in barrique. Bottling without filtration. The wine is aged 33 months in oak barrels and in barrique then 60 months in bottle. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
