This Barolo DOCG stands as a benchmark for Piedmont's highest quality classification. At 14.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Nebbiolo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the commune of La Morra, in plots planted in 1955, 1961 and 1999. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in concrete followed by malolactic fermentation in wood. The wine is aged about 20 months in barrel and a few months in concrete, steel or fiberglass. A wine combining Piedmont's trademark power with finesse and complexity.
The region's continental climate and varied soils create ideal conditions for both indigenous and international grape varieties.
