Crafted from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the area of Chianti Rufina, at an altitude of 250-500 m. above sea level., facing south-east, on dry ground, stony and calcareous clay. Vinification: fermentation in steel tanks for 12-14 days and malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged 10 months in oak barrels.
