A fine example of Tuscany winemaking, this Bolgheri DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 14.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon 65%, Merlot 20% and Sangiovese 15%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. Vinification: spontaneous fermentation in open vats, without temperature control, with manual punching down 2-3 times a day and extended maceration for 3 weeks. The wine is aged 18 months in barriques of first and second passage, 12 months in bottle. A wine true to the storied winemaking heritage of Tuscany.
Tuscany is Italy's most celebrated wine region, home to legendary denominations like Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
