Crafted from Sangiovese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a hilly soil at 300 metres above sea level in Castelnuovo Berardenga. Vinification: fermentation in steel tanks for 10 days with maceration on the skins for other 5-6 days. The wine is aged short passage in old oak barrels and some months in steel tanks.
