Tasting Notes

This exceptional Cirò DOC showcases the authentic character of Calabria. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Gaglioppo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from 30 years vines in the Cirò area at 200 metres above sea level on clay and limestone soil with south, south/east exposure. Vinification: soft pressing, maceration on the skins for 15 days at controlled temperature and alcoholic fermentation in cement. The wine is aged 24-36 months in cement tanks. A wine capturing the sun-drenched character of Italy's southernmost mainland region.
