Collio Rosso 'Venko' Tenuta Sant'Helena - Fantinel

A fine example of Friuli Venezia Giulia winemaking, this Collio DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Merlot 50%, Cabernet Franc 40%, Pinot Noir 10% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. Vinification: partial drying of the grapes (25%) for 8 weeks and alcoholic fermentation at low temperature with maceration on the skins for 20 days. The wine is aged 24 months in 30 hectolitre Allier and Slavonian oak barrels. A wine capturing the crisp, mineral-driven style of Friuli whites.
