Tasting Notes

This exceptional Sicilia DOC showcases the authentic character of Sicily. Its 12.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Carricante 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Tenuta Tascante, on the North side of Etna in the districts of Montedolce, Feudo Sant'Anastasia, at an altitude of 600 m. asl, on soils with rich volcanic sediment. Vinification: fermentation for 12 days in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged 4 months in stainless on the lees. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
