Tasting Notes

This Etna DOC captures the distinctive personality of Sicily terroir. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards pre-phylloxera vines that are 80-90 years old at 850 metres above sea level, rooted in a sandy soil in the northern slope of Etna. Vinification: fermentation with maceration on the skins for 18 days. The wine is aged 14 months in French tonneaux. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
