This exceptional Etna DOC showcases the authentic character of Sicily. At 14.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards site on the North side of Etna Volcano. Yield per hectare to 60 quintals. Vinification: destemming of the grapes that are not totally pressed. Alcoholic fermentation in wood casks with a maceration for 10-12 days with daily pressing. Racking and pressing. The wine is aged in barriques for 12 months and for few months in concrete vats. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
