Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards black soils rich in volcanic and mineral ash, 750 meters above sea level. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and malolactic fermentation in barrique. The wine is aged 18 months in French oak barriques, half of the mass in new oak barrels, the remaining in used barriques. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
