Tasting Notes

This Etna DOC captures the distinctive personality of Sicily terroir. Its 15% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the Contrade Arcuria, Malpasso, Favazza, Guardiola and Feudo di mezzo, on the vineyards of 70-100 years old, at an altitude of 500-100 m. above sea level. Vinification: fermentation with indigenous yeasts and long maceration on the skins. The wine is aged 18 months in large oak barrels.
