This exceptional Etna DOC showcases the authentic character of Sicily. With 13% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards pietramarina vineyard, in black volcanic soils rich in sands at 510 metres above sea level. Vinification: destemming, soft pressing, fermentation in wooden and steel tanks with maceration on the skins for 14 days. The wine is aged 6-8 months in big oak barrels and in steel vats. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
