This exceptional Etna DOC showcases the authentic character of Sicily. At 15% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Contrada Calderara, at 650 metres above sea level on volcanic soils. Vinification: alcoholic spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeast in vats and malolactic in tonneau. Unfiltered and unclarified. The wine is aged 18 months in tonneau and barrique and 6 months in bottle. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
