A fine example of Sicily winemaking, this Etna DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards centenary sapling vines in Vigna Poggio, from Randazzo, placed at 800 meters above sea level on lava stone terraces. Organic cultivation without irrigation. Vinification: alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in steel tanks, with long maceration on the skins. The wine is aged 24 months in small oak barrels and tonneau, then at least 24 months in bottle. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
Sicily, the Mediterranean's largest island, pairs ancient viticultural heritage with a dynamic modern wine renaissance.
