Etna Rosso 'Sentiero delle Gerle' Mandrarossa

This exceptional Etna DOC showcases the authentic character of Sicily. At 13% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on the south-east slope of Etna on volcanic soils. Vinification: alcoholic fermentatin in little vats with 10-12 days of maceration on the skins at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 10-12 months in french oak of 50hl. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
