A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Colli Tortonesi DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Red grapes, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Serragrilli cru on clayey and calcareous soils rich in sand and silt with South-West exposure. Vinification: 20 days of maceration on the skins, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged 12 months in steel vats, 24 months in French oak barrels and 24 months in bottles. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
