Hailing from Sicily, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. At 12.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Frappato 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the ancient district of Pettineo, near Serra San Bartolo, from 60-year-old vine-shaped vines resting on deep, sandy soil of marine origin of 50 cm with pebbles. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeast in cement tanks with contact with the skins. The wine is aged some months in old and big oak barrels. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
Volcanic soils around Mount Etna impart a distinctive mineral character found across many Sicilian wines.
