This Langhe DOC captures the distinctive personality of Piedmont terroir. At 14.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Freisa 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on clayey soils, blue marl and tufa, west facing, at 300 meters on sea level. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation on the skisn for 10-12 days in steel vats. The wine is aged 6 months in steel vats and 6 months in Slavonian barrels, few months in bottle. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
