This exceptional Langhe DOC showcases the authentic character of Piedmont. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Freisa 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the vineyard San Ponzio, at an altitude between 390 and 410 m. asl, on clay soil in an old vineyard. Vinification: very short maceration and alcoholic fermentation in steel. The wine is aged 12-18 months in oak casks and barriques. A wine combining Piedmont's trademark power with finesse and complexity.
