Tasting Notes

A fine example of Friuli Venezia Giulia winemaking, this Collio DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 13% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Friulano 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the "San Lorenzo" vineyard facing south-west on Mount Quarin (Gorizia) which includes very old vines of 80 years old. Vinification: spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel. The wine is aged 12 months in steel on the lees. A wine capturing the crisp, mineral-driven style of Friuli whites.
