This exceptional Gutturnio DOC showcases the authentic character of Emilia Romagna. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Barbera 60-50%, Bonarda 50-40%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from vines planted in 1970 on clay-sandy soils with south-east exposure. Vinification: fermentation in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts and maceration on the skins. No filtration and no addition of sulfites. The wine is aged some months in steel tanks. A wine reflecting the region's deep-rooted culinary wine traditions.
The region's wines are known for their easy-drinking, versatile character, built to pair with rich local cuisine.
