This exceptional Lago di Caldaro DOC showcases the authentic character of Alto Adige. With 13% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Schiava 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a calcareous clayey soil between 230 and 450 m above sea leval faced to south and east. Vinification: alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in steel vats with maceration on the skins for one week. The wine is aged 4 months on the lees in steel and concrete vats. A wine reflecting the region's cool mountain climate and precise winemaking.
