A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its modest 12% alcohol content favours freshness and drinkability. Crafted from Lagrein 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on alluvial sandy soils, partly calcareous, from the Ora and Margà vineyards located at 230-330 meters above sea level. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation and maceration on steel skins. Malolactic fermentation in concrete vats. The wine is aged 12 months in concrete vats and steel tanks. A wine showing the alpine freshness and purity typical of Alto Adige.
Alto Adige combines Italian and Austrian winemaking traditions in Italy's northernmost wine region.
