Lagrein Cantina di Caldaro Kaltern

This Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC captures the distinctive personality of Alto Adige terroir. Its 13% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Lagrein 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at 350 metres above sea level on clay and limestone soils. Vinification: alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in steel tanks with skin maceration for 10 days at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 5 months in steel vats, in oak barrels and 15% in barrique. A wine reflecting the region's cool mountain climate and precise winemaking.
