A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Lagrein 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. Vinification: fermentation in steel and maceration on the skins for 10 days, then malolactic fermentation in barrel. The wine is aged 20 months in barrique, then longer aging in bottle. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
