Tasting Notes

This exceptional Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC showcases the authentic character of Alto Adige. Its modest 12% alcohol content favours freshness and drinkability. Crafted from Lagrein 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It shows a delicate pale hue with fresh red-berry aromas and a crisp finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from selected vineyards in the Bolzano area (Gries, Ora, Magré, Cortaccia) at an altitude of 230-300 meters on sandy alluvial soils which host vines of 11-56 years of age. Vinification: delicate pressing, alcoholic fermentation in steel at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 4 months on the less in steel tanks. A wine reflecting the region's cool mountain climate and precise winemaking.
