A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Lagrein 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards located in Santa Maddalena, south-east and south-west side, sandy and gravelly soils of glacial origin and inserts of porphyritic components. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with long maceration, 50% of the grapes not destemmed. The wine is aged 6 months in large oak barrels. A wine reflecting the region's cool mountain climate and precise winemaking.
