Produced in Sicily, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. Its 12.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Cabernet 45%, Merlot 45%, Frappato 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at 240 m. above sea level, on red soils of medium texture, calcareous and siliceous. Vinification: fermentation at 30° in concrete tanks without using selected yeasts. The wine is aged 12 months in steel and at least 6 months in bottle. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
Volcanic soils around Mount Etna impart a distinctive mineral character found across many Sicilian wines.
