This distinctive wine from Tuscany embodies traditional Italian winemaking heritage. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Merlot 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the three area of Masseto vines (Centrale, Junior and Alto), on blue clay soil, at 120 metres of altitude, with mild climate with sea breezes. Vinification: selection of the grapes, soft pressing, alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks for 25 days at 25-28 °C and maceration on the skins for 15-20 days. The wine is aged 24 months in barrique, after 12 months the various zones are assembled and after another 12 months in the same barrique. A wine true to the storied winemaking heritage of Tuscany.
