The fruit is sourced from vineyards located in the hamlet of Casavecchia, Castellina in Chianti, on clayey and calcareous soils with abundant stony structure. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in concrete tanks, maceration for 20 days. The wine is aged 12 months in oak tonneaux.
