Crafted from Merlot 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards breeding on hilly, clayey and compact soil at an altitude of 250 m in Tenuta Presti e Pagni in the Monreale hills. Vinification: destemming and cold maceration of the skins for 2 days, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. The wine is aged 5 months in steel tanks.
