A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Merlot 90%, Cabernet Franc 10% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards grapes from the Mühlweg vineyard in Cornaiano, facing west at 420 s.l.m. and placed on porphyritic soils with morainic sediments. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in oak vats. The wine is aged 14 months in oak barrels on fine lees. A wine showing the alpine freshness and purity typical of Alto Adige.
