Merlot 'Quercegrosse' Vallepicciola

Produced in Tuscany, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Merlot 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines trained by spurred cordon and placed at 400 meters above sea level on calcareous and clayey soils rich in galestro and alberese. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with maceration of the skins for about 25 days at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks and subsequent malolactic fermentation in barrique. The wine is aged 12 months in French oak barrels 30% new. A wine capturing the sun-drenched hills of Tuscany in every glass.
